Activities at Ametza Campsite

Every Sunday, during the summer season, while enjoying your welcome drink: sangria and tapas from La Table d’Ametza restaurant under the pergola in the activities area in a landscaped natural setting, group leaders will present their activities program in the presence of the service providers (surfing, canoeing, sailing, paddle, tree climbing, salsa, hip-hop, and reflexology).

The children’s club and the three Mumphrey mascots for the youngest, under the guidance of the leaders in the game room at Ametza Campsite with a heated pool, organize painting, salt dough, pastry, and makeup workshops, offer drawing and costume contests, gather the children around mini Olympics, fashion shows, mini disco and shows.

Teen nights are organized every week to help teens get acquainted and have a bite together. Parents and children can get together with leaders for family walks along the Basque coastal path, the beauty of the striking scenery (mountains, ocean, coves and cliffs) from Hendaye to Saint Jean de Luz or for a beautiful hike along the ocean shore in the Spanish Basque Country from Hondarribia to Pasaia. You’ll set out for a full day hike to the summit of the La Rhune (905m altitude) with its exceptional panorama, surrounded by pottoks (small Basque ponies in the wild).
