The restaurant of 4 star Camping Ametza, near the most beautiful
fine sandy beach of the Aquitaine coast, La Table d ‘Ametza, in a building of neo-Basque architecture, opens its doors from April until the end of the season in September .
The terrace, under the first rays of the sun, welcomes you from 8 a.m. in high season. Let yourself be tempted by a tasty breakfast consisting of coffee, tea, chocolate, orange juice, bread, cakes and jam.
A bright dining room with a pleasant decoration. Sit on a bench, a chair or on a stool in the bar, and enjoy some tapas with a glass of cider or sangria, a grenadine or an orange squash for the little ones.
Then you can taste the traditional cuisine prepared by Fabrice and his team (paella, fish from the market of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, squid in ink sauce, COO mussels, duck magret, lamb shank, local ham, sheep’s cheese. ..), and of course the unavoidable pizza with a thousand flavors.
The grocery store at 4 star Camping Ametza, with a heated swimming pool, by the beach , with neo-Basque architecture and flowerbeds and bushes, is next to La Table d’Ametza restaurant: bread, cakes, fruits and vegetables, cold meats , dairy products, drinks, ice cream, newspapers, essential products, all of them presented in an attractive way in a bright cheerful store.
During the season, guests are warmly welcomed from 8am to 8pm; visit it in the morning and in the afternoon on your return from the beach.
La Table d’Ametza awaits you at the campsite of the Basque Country , pitches, rental of Coco-sweet, Campétoile, mobile homes and chalets.
During festivals in the Basque Country, cooking contests are organized between towns, neighborhoods or friends, and this is the origin of the famous “pintxos or tapas” , traditional miniature dishes.
Some tables are installed in the shade of the pergola with red bougainvillea flowers and blue plumbagos near the entertainment area. At night in high season you can dine in a warm atmosphere, to the sound of the many shows and parties offered by Camping Ametza: sevillanas, mutxikos, Basque choirs, jazz, French songs, karaoke, quizzes…
For more privacy, head to the dining room of La Table d’Ametza restaurant or the adjoining terrace decorated with pink hydrangeas and blue sage bushes. It is recommended to book in advance.
La Table d’Ametza team also welcomes working groups and seminars, offering a service adapted to their wishes.
